Our Story

Marilyn Trent started with little more than a Bachelor of Fine Arts, her creative talent, her tenacity and her commitment to satisfying the design needs of her clients when she first started Trent Creative in 1992.

Over the past thirty years she has turned the start-up business into a successful, full-service branding, graphic design and digital marketing agency while simultaneously raising two daughters and acting as a catalyst for positive social and ecological change in her community. Trent Creative is proud to be a certifed by the WBENC (Women Business Enterprise National Council).

In 2011, a second office was opened in Midtown Detroit. Many people asked why would anyone make such a move when the economy had not recovered and the risk was so great. The answer was quite simple according to Marilyn. “I believed in the greater community and I had been working with clients in Detroit since 1999. I had always had the vision and hope that if there was an opportunity to become a part of the resurgence of Detroit, I would become a part of it and I have never looked back."

Meeting the demands of our incredibly diverse client base has given us the skills to adapt quickly to whatever our clients need. Our production practices have been refined over the years to be as flexible and responsive as possible and we work hand in hand with our clients to ensure their vision is fully realized.
